New track „Memory Lane“ – Rolling release #1: Bandcamp & Soundcloud

Wie immer sind wir stolz und gleichzeitig aufgeregt, wenn wir einen neuen Song unter die Zuhörer bringen. „Memory Lane“, ein erklärter Favorit aller Bandmitglieder aus unserem Live-Repertoire, geht jetzt im edlen Studio-Sound um die Welt. Unsere werten Göteborger Kollegen Richard Sandström & Attila Bokor sind wie gewohnt für Mix & Mastering verantwortlich und haben mal wieder ganze Arbeit geleistet. Hört rein und lasst uns ein Feedback da! Gerade in Zeiten von #stayathome vermissen wir die direkte Resonanz, die Musiker so sehr benötigen.

As always when we release a new song, we are proud and excited at the same time. „Memory Lane“, a declared favorite of all band members from our live repertoire, is now starting it’s journey around the world in a classy studio sound. Our valued colleagues from Gothenburg, Richard Sandström & Attila Bokor, are responsible for Mix & Mastering as usual and have once again done a great job. Listen in and please leave a feedback! We’re suffering hard from this lack of direct response musicians need so much especialy during this #stayathome period.

Track information: On a superficial layer our song’s focus is on a quite concrete plot. But along it comes with an additional overal significance, because everyone is walking down his own „Memory Lane“. Our lyrics tell you the story of an old women missing her husband „lost at sea“ years ago. Just delve in her thoughts & emotions! We hope our music with it’s occasional maritime flavour & some significant mood swings during this epic track will inspire your heart & your mind. We’re very curious about your feedback.

Bringen wir doch mal etwas Licht ins Dunkle: Natürlich war der Plan, dass unser Song auf allen Plattformen – also auch bei den Major-Streamingdiensten wie Spotify & Co. gleichzeitig erscheint. Doch dann hätten alle Fans und Zuhörer nach dem Voting über das Cover-Artwork noch weitere 3-4 Wochen warten müssen. So lange ist nämlich der Vorlauf, den unser Vertrieb und die Dienste selbst benötigen. Das wollten wir euch aber grade jetzt in #stayathome Zeiten nicht zumuten. Also veröffentlichen wir in Etappen: Zuerst das exklusive Pre-Release für unsere Newsletter-Abonnenten. Die sind halt immer klar im Vorteil. Am 02.04.2020 geht es dann mit Bandcamp und Soundcloud für alle anderen weiter. In den Tagen darauf bemustern wir noch einige Crypto-Dienste wie Musicoin & Audius. Die Majors folgen dann as soon as possible. Wir halten euch natürlich auf dem Laufenden.

Let’s bring some light into the dark: Of course the plan for our song was to appear on all platforms at the same time – including major streaming services like Spotify & Co. But then all fans and listeners would have had to wait another 3-4 weeks after the voting on the cover artwork ended. That’s how long the lead is, which our sales and services themselves need. We just didn’t want you to suffer any longer in #stayathome times. Consequently this time we publish in stages: First the exclusive pre-release for our newsletter subscribers. They always have a clear advantage. On April 2nd, 2020 we continue with Bandcamp and Soundcloud for everyone else. In the following days we still sample some crypto services such as Musicoin & Audius. The majors will follow as soon as possible. We’ll keep you up to date.
