Hier ist sie: Unsere erste konspirative Empfehlung! morph, eine Band aus Schweden, genauer gesagt aus Göteborg. Auf obigem YouTube-Clip könnt ihr euch die komplette EP „The Nemesis“ anhören und die Lyrics mitlesen. Macht echt Spaß, was die Jungs – Richard Sandström: Drums, Attila Bokor: Vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards – dort zaubern. Ihrer Eigenbeschreibung kann man nur zustimmen.
Progressive/alternative rock sound from Sweden. „morph“ blends melodic passages with rhythmically exciting parts.
Vier Tracks sind hier zu hören: Saturated, Killing Time, Bitter / Sweet & Black From Now On. Die Songs bestechen vor allem mit melodischer Klarheit. Die Vocals finde ich exzellent und auch Attilas Gitarrenarbeit kann sich echt hören lassen. Richards Schlagzeugspiel ist outstanding aber immer sehr songdienlich gehalten. Wer da mehr wissen will, speziell für die Drummer unter euch: Richard betreibt einen YouTube-Videokanal und eine eigene Homepage für seine Online-Drumschool. Bleibt ganz eigennützig noch zu hoffen, dass aus dem Zwei-Mann-Projekt ein livetauglicher Act wird. Wir würden das Konzertticket jedenfalls sofort blind kaufen!

Here it comes: Our first conspiratorial recommendation! morph, a band from Sweden, specifically from Gothenburg. In the YouTube clip above you can listen to the entire EP „The Nemesis“ and read the lyrics. It is really fun, what the two guys – Richard Sandström: Drums, Attila Bokor: vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards – conjure up there. We can only agree to their own description.

Four tracks can be heard here: Saturated, Killing Time, Bitter / Sweet & Black From Now On. The songs are primarily distinguished by melodic clarity. I find the vocals excellent and Attila’s guitar work is amazing. Richards drumming is outstanding but always kept very useful for the song. Who wants to know more, especially for the drummers: Richard runs a YouTube video channel and its own homepage for his online drumschool. Remains very selfish to hope that out of the two-man project it becomes a live-compatible act. We would buy the concert ticket at any rate immediately blind!
