2019 – Great things to come…

As always…. scroll down for english version.

A little bit late, but here is a Happy New Year to all our loyal readers & listeners. To let the cat out of the bag: Two new J Conspiracy releases are planned for 2019: For our standards a very short piece titled „Yesterday’s Gone“ and one of our declared favorites from the repertoire, „Memory Lane“. The latter is 8:50 min. thus almost a longtrack again. Attentive readers of The J Conspiracy’s Facebook page already know that the drum recordings for both tracks recorded on Heiko’s brand new drum set are complete since January 6th. On Zuckerberg’s platform there is also a small video snippet of the recording session. More about the new studio recordings will be available soon.

The culmination of last year was the nomination of our 2018 epic 11:11 for Single Of The Year in Eddie McFadden’s great year-end broadcast on Radio Listen Lanarkshire.

On the 4th of January 2019 we got an incredibly nice winter photo from the USA for our Place Called Home pictureslider. Although this great media project „Music Meets Photography“ has naturally taken a back seat in our minds because of the work on the next releases, this submission reminds us of how big this small idea for our debut song has become in the course of time. Clicking on the picture above takes you to other great ice images of the photographer, fellow musician and arts therapist Liam Greguez.

I mentioned about 3 months ago that I wanted to add a photo to A Place Called Home, and I am finally getting around to it. This is one from a bluestone quarry in the Catskill mtns. They used this stone for sidewalks in NYC. I camp here in the winter and hike with a camera. I love calling these woods my home.

In addition this will hopefully encourage you to submit more pictures. We really want to crack the 200 mark yet. And if one contributes another country to the list of countries below … so much the better.

Germany, Netherlands, Scotland, Mongolia, Italy, England, Libya, Luxembourg, France, Cambodia, Moon, Spain (Fuerteventura), Switzerland, Belarus, Austria, USA, Jordan, New Zealand
