Was für eine unglaubliche Woche für uns!!! Montags, den 16.04.2018 erscheint offiziell unser neuer Song „11:11“ und am Dienstag wird unsere Band bei WDR 2 POP im Abendprogramm vorgestellt und nimmt am Bandwettbewerb „Szene im Westen“ teil. Hier läuft dann ein extra für diesen Anlass erstellter Radio-Edit unserer 2016er Single The Glass House. Wir hoffen natürlich, dass ihr zahlreich für uns voted. Nicht alle Tage läuft Progressive Rock im Mainstream-Radio. Wir sind wirklich stolz darauf es in diese Sendung geschafft zu haben. Jetzt kann es aber gerne noch weiter gehen: Der Weg zum Wochengewinner führt aber nur über eure Stimmen. Voten könnt ihr bereits ab Montagabend.
Presseinfo: Euskirchener Prog-Rocker im Voting bei WDR2 „Szene im Westen“
Mit „The J Conspiracy“ ist zum ersten mal eine Euskirchener Band bei der großen WDR2 Bandaktion „Szene im Westen“ am Start. Woche für Woche werden jeweils Dienstags bis Donnerstags in der großen Abendsendung WDR2 POP zwischen 20:05 & 23:30 Uhr drei NRW-Bands mit jeweils einem Song vorgestellt. Am Dienstag, den 17.04.2018 sind die Progressive Rocker von „The J Conspiracy“ mit ihrer 2016 vorgestellten Single „The Glass House“ hier am Start. Dieser Titel hat es immerhin schon in 27 verschiedenen Radio-Shows in 11 Ländern auf die Playlist geschafft. Aber die Teilnahme am Bandvoting bei NRWs Quotenkönig WDR2 ist da schon noch von einem anderen Kaliber. „Die Chance so viele Hörer auf einmal zu erreichen, wollten wir uns natürlich nicht entgehen lassen“, so Ralf Brand, Gitarrist und Sänger der Band. Zumal das Ganze mit einem Voting verbunden ist: Die Hörer können bereits ab Montags abends bis Sonntagabend auf der Homepage des WDR für den Wochengewinner abstimmen. Der optimale Weg: Die Adresse www.wdr2.de eingeben, auf „Musik“ klicken und dort erscheint das Feld „Szene im Westen“. Alle drei Wochenkandidaten sind mit Foto, Kurzinfos und dem Teilnehmer-Song zum Anhören vorgestellt. Christoph Buß (Keyboarder der J Conspiracy): „Wir hoffen natürlich, dass die Euskirchener uns als ortsansässiger Band viele zusätzliche Stimmen bringen werden. Denn die jeweiligen Wochengewinner werden nicht nur am folgenden Montag nochmals im Hörfunk präsentiert, sondern auch über einen längeren Zeitraum auf einer separaten Seite im Internetangebot des WDR promoted. Für eine Independent-Band wie uns, ohne Plattenfirma im Hintergrund, wäre das ein Riesenerfolg.“ Jetzt liegt es bei den Musikfans den vier Herren zahlreich unter die Arme zu greifen.

„The J Conspiracy“ is for the first time part of the big WDR2 band action „Scene in the West“. On Tuesday, 17.04.2018, the Progressive rockers of „The J Conspiracy“ are there with their 2016 featured single „The Glass House“. But the participation in the band voting at NRW’s quota king WDR2 is already of a different caliber. „Of course we did not want to miss the chance to reach so many listeners at once“, says Ralf Brand, guitarist and singer of the band.
