JCon Showcase – Photo+Adventure 2016 in Duisburg

Here are some impressions of our brief appearance on the Photo+Adventure on 12/06/2016 at Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord.

Nach dem wunderbaren Auftritt bei „Ein Dorf – Macht Musik“ war dies das zweite Highlight an diesem Wochenende. Tolle Location: Die Kraftzentrale als Messehalle und das stillgelegte Hüttenwerk drum herum bietet wirklich eine tolle Kulisse für diese Fotografiemesse. Es war schon wirklich beeindruckend „Place Called Home“ live vor den Bildern unseres Fotosliders auf der großen Leinwand darbieten zu können. Da musste man sich schon manchmal beim spielen umdrehen… Als Zugabe gab es dann noch unsere nächste Veröffentlichung „The Glass House“. Regelmäßige Besucher unserer Website wissen, dass die Studiosessions hierzu laufen und dass auf unserem YouTube-Kanal verfolgt werden kann, wie dieser Song wächst und gedeiht.

Vielen Dank nochmals an Christian Thomas, der unsere Kooperation mit dieser Messe und dieses ganz besondere Event möglich gemacht hat.

This was the second highlight this weekend after our performance at „One Village – making music“ on saturday. Great Location: The power station as an exhibition hall and the disused steelworks around it really provides a great backdrop for this photography exhibition. It was really impressive to perform „Place Called Home“ in front of the big screen with the pictures of our photoslider behind us. Sometimes we had to turn around while playing… As an encore we playedl our next release „The Glass House“. Regular visitors to our site know that the studio sessions are running and on our YouTube channel it can be traced how the song grows and prospers.
