Reisende kennen das: Das „Place Called Home“-Gefühl stellt sich unvermittelt ein. Manchmal an scheinbar absurd anmutenden Orten – zumindest ist es schwer, es anderen zu erklären, die diese Momente nicht miterlebt haben. Auch ich kenne die Wüste, bin mehrmals mit dem Kamel durch die Wüste Marokkos und Libyens (damals war es noch möglich) gereist. Solche Erlebnisse begleiten einem das ganze Leben lang. Ich kann Ihre Sehnsucht gut nachvollziehen.

Vielen, vielen Dank. Ich werde die Fotos nach und nach in die Gallerie hochladen. Das erste ist gleich schon drin. Sich in einer scheinbar absolut leeren Landschaft heimisch zu fühlen, kann ich sehr gut nachvollziehen. Nicht viele Dinge haben mich diesbezüglich so geprägt, wie eine Saharatour (Ende der 80er) – damals noch mit meinen Eltern -. Diese Sehnsucht hält bis heute vor.

Travelers know the drill: The „Place Called Home“ feeling adjusts itself abruptly. Sometimes at seemingly absurd locations – at least it is difficult to explain it to others who did not live through those moments. I also know the desert, have repeatedly traveled by camel through the desert of Morocco and Libya (then it was still possible). Such experiences accompany one throughout life. I can understand your desire very well.

Feeling at home in a seemingly completely empty landscape I understand very well. In this respect not many things have influenced me so much, like a Sahara tour (in the late 80s) – then still with my parents -. This longing keeps ago until today.

Ich finde es eine gute Idee, einen Blog einzurichten. Es gibt die Möglichkeit sich zu dem jeweiligen Thema auszutauschen, insbesondere zu dem Thema „Place Called Home“. Es gibt unterschiedliche Vorstellungen von „Heimat“, was auch durch die Fotos in der Slideshow zu erkennen ist.
